Semarang, undip.ac.id - Spatial planning in rural areas is very important and urgent, it was presented by Dr. Imam Buchori Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the symposium to the rural areas of spatial planning for sustainable rural development in the seminar room of Regional and City Planning Department Undip, Thursday (24/11) morning. "A good spatial villages would have good consequences for urban as well as at least the absorption due to urbanization of human resources in rural areas than in cities". he said
"Spatial rural areas should be done with the ideal kaedah so it can be agropolitan area. Agropolitan itself is a concept developed rural areas and is a solution in the development of rural areas. With formation of agropolitan area then there will be access from the community products to the market. Because during this if we see the failure of the transmigration program one of them is the lack of access to markets ". he added


"In addition it should set the rural village of the town which is the service center for the surrounding area, so the distribution of raw materials pengasil village, village to village collecting raw materials production centers can distribute to the towns and villages of the rural town to the big city"


Other speakers lecturer PWK Undip Rudiarto Iwan said the purpose of rural development is to improve the quality of rural community


The concept is more specific than the concept of rural development that includes an integrated three-dimensional; economic, social, and politik.Walaupun transformed the concept of rural development from time to time but the dominant activity in rural development is still farming "he said

Spatial planning should be able to accommodate the needs of land for production activities pertanian.Dibutuhkan a sustainable approach to land use to be able to support agricultural activities by involving various stakeholders and also the policy of land diambil.Perhatian spatial needs not only focus on urban areas so as not to further enlarge the urban bias and neglected rural planning.Produk should be able to separate the spatial arrangement between urban and rural spatial planning à Rural Development Strategy "he added


Section of Law and Legislation Ministry of Public Works said that the concept Wisnubroto Sarosa agropolitan development of rural areas is an approach that is very good for our society and relefan


"Agropolitan is an approach to rural development through efforts to foster small towns based on agriculture as part of the urban system with the intention of creating a balanced development and rural-urban and regional development synergistic" He said

UNDIP SIAPKAN PROGRAM KELAS INTERNATIONAL

Semarang, undip.ac.id - Mewujudkan World Class University bukanlah perkara mudah, untuk itu bagian kerjasama Universitas Diponegoro mengadakan Workshop Program Kelas International : Peluang, Tantangan, Kebijakan dan Potensi , Kamis, 24/11 di ruang 108 gedung Prof Sudharto, kampus Undip Tembalang. Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh seluruh Ketua Jurusan dan Ketua Prodi dari seluruh Fakultas yang ada di Universitas Diponegoro. Peserta workshop di berikan pembekalan mengenai berbagai hal yang mesti di persipakan untuk membentuk kelas international.

Dihadirkan dalam acara tersebut sebagai pembicara, Tita Elfitasari, SPi, MSc, PhD, yang memaparkan materi mengenai “Pengenalan Content and Languange Intergrated Learning (CLIL)”, “Kiat-kiat Mejalin Kerjasama Pendidikan dan MOU dengan Institusi Perguruan Tinggi di Luar Negeri” menjadi materi penting yang disampaikan oleh Djoko Suprapto, sementara Ketua Magister Teknik Sipil Program Pascasarjana UNDIP, Bambang Riyanto siang hari itu sharing mengenai Pengalaman mengelola Kelas International.

Peserta juga di berikan bekal bagaimana mempersiapkan SDM yang tepat untuk membuat sebuah kelas International, Materi Persiapan ini di sampaikan oleh Ketua LP2MP Prof. Mukh Arifin MPd. Jati Utomo Dwi Hatmoko juga sharing mengenai pengalaman mengajar kelas international dalam tema materi” Teaching an International Class an Experience. Direktur International Office, Sapto P. Putro menyampaikan materi tentang The Role Of International Office Class 2011.

Rektor Undip, Prof. Sudharto P. Hadi menyampaikan bahwa” Kelas International adalah peluang besar bagi Undip untuk mengembangkan sayap dalam merekrut banyak mahasiswa karena banyak masyarakat yang tertarik untuk kuliah berbahasa inggris tapi tanpa perlu keluar negeri serta di semarang untuk saat ini belum ada Perguruan Tinggi yang menyelenggarakan kelas internasional untuk program S1”  (Ir/R-HUMAS)
